1. Eligibility & Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You may not share, resell, sublicense, or transfer your account access.

2. Service Description & Intended Use

Definitive Analysis provides financial data, analytics, valuation models, and related tools for informational and research purposes only.

• The Service does not provide investment, legal, tax, or financial advice.
• All content is provided "as is" and may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time.
• You are solely responsible for how you interpret and use the data provided.

3. Free Trial

Certain plans include a 7-day free trial that provides full access to the Service.

• You may cancel your account at any time before the trial ends to avoid charges.
• If the trial is not canceled before expiration, your account will convert to the selected paid plan.
• Temporary authorization holds may be used to validate payment methods.

4. Paid Plans, Billing & Installments

The Service offers multiple paid plans, including monthly, yearly, lifetime, and installment-based options.

• Billing frequency, pricing, and limits depend on the plan selected at signup.
• Installment plans consist of multiple scheduled charges.
• You may cancel an installment plan before the next scheduled installment to prevent future charges.
• Installments that have already been processed are non-refundable.
• Lifetime plans grant long-term access but do not include refunds after the trial period.

5. Refund Policy

Refunds are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

• No refunds are issued for charges processed after the free trial ends.
• No pro-rated refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
• The free trial exists to allow full evaluation before payment.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

• Attempting to scrape, bulk-download, or reverse-engineer the platform.
• Bypassing usage limits, export limits, or access controls.
• Using the Service for unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent purposes.
• Sharing or reselling access without written permission.

7. Data & Intellectual Property

All software, content, data compilations, designs, and intellectual property associated with the Service are owned by Definitive Analysis or its licensors.

• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service.
• You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without authorization.

8. Account Suspension & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our sole discretion if:

• These Terms are violated
• Abusive or excessive usage is detected
• Fraud, chargebacks, or misuse occurs

Termination does not entitle you to a refund of fees already paid.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties regarding accuracy, completeness, reliability, or availability of the Service or data.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Definitive Analysis shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
