Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: January 14, 2026
We believe in full transparency. This policy explains how free trials, billing,
installment payments, cancellations, and refunds are handled on the Definitive Analysis platform.
Please read it carefully before starting a trial or paid subscription.
1. Free Trial & Trial Cancellations
All paid plans include a 7-day free trial. During the trial period,
you may cancel at any time.
-
Cancel Before Trial Ends: If you cancel before the trial expires,
no charges will be processed.
-
Immediate Effect: Trial cancellations take effect immediately
and prevent the system from initiating any paid billing.
2. Temporary Authorization Hold ($10.00)
When starting a free trial, your payment method may show a
temporary authorization hold of $10.00.
- This is not a charge and does not transfer funds.
- The hold is used solely to verify the validity of your payment method.
- If you cancel during the trial, the hold is automatically released.
-
Depending on your bank, pending holds may take 3–5 business days to disappear.
3. Charges After the Trial Period
If your trial is not canceled before it expires, your account will automatically
transition to the paid plan you selected at signup.
- Charges may be monthly, yearly, lifetime, or installment-based,
depending on the plan chosen.
-
Once a paid billing period begins, the service is considered rendered.
Refunds are not available for charges processed after the trial.
4. Installment Plans & Cancellations
Some plans offer the option to pay in multiple installments.
-
Each installment is a separate charge processed on a scheduled basis.
-
You may cancel your plan at any time before the next scheduled installment
to prevent future installment charges.
-
Installments that have already been successfully processed
are not refundable.
-
Canceling an installment plan stops future payments but does not reverse
previously completed charges.
5. Lifetime & Annual Plans
Lifetime and annual plans are offered at discounted rates in exchange for
upfront or structured payment commitments.
-
Lifetime and annual purchases are non-refundable
once the trial period has ended.
-
The free trial exists specifically to allow full evaluation
before committing to these plans.
6. No Pro-Rated Refunds
We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial billing periods.
If you cancel after a billing cycle has begun, you will retain access
through the end of the current period, but no funds will be returned.
7. Contact & Billing Questions
If you believe a charge was made in error or need assistance canceling your account,
please contact our support team promptly so we can review the issue.
